Alanna Stapleton is an illustrator and semi-professional breakfast enthusiast based in Minneapolis. She is a recent graduate of the MFA program at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Alanna currently works primarily with hand-embroidery to explore the humor found in everyday experiences. She likes making work about badass ladies with bold limited color palettes, and hand-lettering.
Her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators NY and been shown at Gowanus Print Lab, Soo Visual Arts Center, Light Grey Art Lab, and more. She is also a contributing illustrator to Rookie Mag.
Alanna's interests include but are not limited to: Parks and Recreation, sitting in coffee shops, thinking about horses, and finding a way to travel and draw forever.
Let's work together!
