Alanna Stapleton is a Wisconsin born illustrator and semi-professional breakfast enthusiast. She earned a BFA in Illustration from Northern Michigan University in 2015 and is pursuing an MFA in Visual Studies at Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Alanna enjoys creating with a variety of mediums: from watercolor and gouache to fabric and embroidery, often focusing on themes of memory, documentation, nostalgia, and everyday occurrences.
Her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators NY and been shown at Gowanus Print Lab and Light Grey Art Lab, among others.
Alanna's interests include but are not limited to: Parks and Recreation, sitting in coffee shops, thinking about horses, and finding a way to travel and draw forever.
